Since young, I have always loved animals. Alot of my cousins around my age had their own pets like cats, fish and also birds. Unfortunately, I could not convince my parents into allowing me to have a pet. Every year I would ask my parents to buy me a cat for my birthday when finally when I was seven my parents decided to buy me one.
I could not have been happier the day when my family went to the pet shop and I picked out my cat, Kitty. Kitty loved to play with me and also loved to be scratch. Everyday when I came back from school, Kitty will always be there to welcome me home. Unfortunately, I lost Kitty 4 years ago. I will never forget the day I lost her.
Kitty was like my best friend. I come home straight from school everyday just to come home and see her. I took care of her with all my heart. My family members all love her.
Everything went wrong when I start seeing that Kitty was not active like before. Every time I wanted to play with her, she would just sit down and do nothing. I sometimes feel sad that I don't get to play with her like I used to. Days past and my parents and I started to get worried of Kitty's health. My parents decided that we bring Kitty to the vet.
At the vet, Kitty went for a check-up. I waited for Kitty impatiently. Finally, the veterinarian came out saying that Kitty is suffering from a disease and there is nothing we can do. Kitty had to be left in the vet. Hearing that, my heart broke into a million pieces. Tears roll down my cheek. I loved Kitty so much that I could not bear living her behind but I had no choice. I kissed Kitty goodbye and left with a heavy heart. On the way home, I remember thinking that I would trade anything to have my cat back but I knew that I couldn't do anything.
