Me!

For this post, I decide to talk about me. The first 3 blog post are all for my english lesson so, for this post I would want to start if proper.
As you know, my name is Siti Aisha and I go to Riverside Secondary. My cca is drama as I love acting. My dream is to be a famous actor or singer. I really like to be in the spotlight. I want everybody to know who I am. My dreams seem so big and unreachable but I believe that if I continue to work hard and my best in my cca, maybe it may come true.
I also want to say that I have been enjoying my time in Riverside. The teachers are great. My seniors a great. Everything is so great and I love.
          That is all about me...

My HMT Oral

My HMT oral was last Friday,23/09/11. My oral was during the MT lesson. Before the oral, I was really nervous. I did not know if I could do well. Since I was the second person to be tested , I was so super nervous. I quickly recap some oral pointers before the teacher called me to sit on the chair for the silent reading. I took the paper and looked at the picture first. I was so surprised. There was nothing much to say. So I think of all the things I can say and got ready to read and discuss the picture to the teacher. It was my turn I talk to the teacher as much as I could. At times, my mind goes blank but I tried remembering the 5W and 1H and continued talking. I end off my oral happily as I think that I have done my best. I just hope that my marks are good.

My Difficulties in English

The difficulties I usually have is grammar and vocabulary. I always make grammar mistakes in my composition which make my marks lesser. The second thing is my vocabulary. I tend to lack vocabulary. I help myself by reading books but during my composition exam, I don't seem to remember the words that I learned. This lack of vocabulary also effects my paraphrasing in my summary. I will continue reading more books and do well for my SA2

My cat, Kitty

Since young, I have always loved animals. Alot of my cousins around my age had their own pets like cats, fish and also birds. Unfortunately, I could not convince my parents into allowing me to have a pet. Every year I would ask my parents to buy me a cat for my birthday when finally when I was seven my parents decided to buy me one.
I could not have been happier the day when my family went to the pet shop and I picked out my cat, Kitty. Kitty loved to play with me and also loved to be scratch. Everyday when I came back from school, Kitty will always be there to welcome me home. Unfortunately, I lost Kitty 4 years ago. I will never forget the day I lost her.
Kitty was like my best friend. I come home straight from school everyday just to come home and see her. I took care of her with all my heart. My family members all love her.
Everything went wrong when I start seeing that Kitty was not active like before. Every time I wanted to play with her, she would just sit down and do nothing. I sometimes feel sad that I don't get to play with her like I used to. Days past and my parents and I started to get worried of Kitty's health. My parents decided that we bring Kitty to the vet.
At the vet, Kitty went for a check-up. I waited for Kitty impatiently. Finally, the veterinarian came out saying that Kitty is suffering from a disease and there is nothing we can do. Kitty had to be left in the vet. Hearing that, my heart broke into a million pieces. Tears roll down my cheek. I loved Kitty so much that I could not bear living her behind but I had no choice. I kissed Kitty goodbye and left with a heavy heart. On the way home, I remember thinking that I would trade anything to have my cat back but I knew that I couldn't do anything.

My mum's birthday

About a month ago was my mum's birthday. It was such a great birthday. My mum told me that it was the birthday she will never forget.
It was 21th July 2011. It was a day before my mum's birthday. I had nothing to give my mum. I was worried. I did not want to have nothing to give my mum the next day. I decided to pair up with my sister to think of something we should buy or make for my mum.
Suddenly, we thought of something. We decided to make for our mum the best breakfast she ever had together with a birthday card. We told our dad and he volunteered to go to the supermarket with me and my sister to buy the ingredients. I was so excited I barely slept that night.
The next day my dad, my sister and I woke up early then my mum to go to the supermarket. We bought mum her favourite spreader, juice and fruits. We came back and started making my mum her breakfast.
We made toast with her favourite spreader, peanut butter. Then we made a fruit salad filled with her favourite fruits. Finally, we served it together with her favourite juice, orange juice. It was all ready and we went in her room with surprised. When we woke her up, she was so surprised.
My mum ate her breakfast. She was so happy and grateful. She told my dad, my sister and me that that was the best birthday ever and that she loved it. My day, my sister and I were all proud of ourselves.

Bonus Task-The time I learn how to ride a bicycle

I still remembered the first time I rode a bicycle. It was a such a wonderful day as I have always wanted to ride a bicycle since young. It was a red bicycle my dad got me during my birthday when I was eight. I tried remembering the first time I rode my red coloured bicycle.
It was 28 August 2008 when my dad  brought home a lovely red bicycle home. I was so excited as I have always wanted a bicycle. I ran towards it and realised how gigantic it was. I started getting a little bit afraid of it. There was no way that I was going to control that monster-sized material. The bicycle remained untouched for more than a month. I was too scared to try it.
Finally, my dad decided to give me motivation for me to try riding my new bicycle. Even my mum motivated me. At last, I was determined to try riding the bicycle. My family were very proud of me. My parents decided to bring me to the park to try cycling.
We found a smooth and open area and my dad told me to get on the bike. At first, I was very nervous but my dad assured me that I was not going to fall as he was holding the back of my sit.
The first time my dad let his hand go, I fell. It hurt and I bruised myself. I wanted to give up but my parents continued giving me motivation. At last, I managed to learn ride my bicycle. Once I learned how to cycle, it felt so easy. I did not expect it to be so easy. That was the time I learn how to ride a bicycle.
